Add custom styles (CSS) to appearance settings for all objects.

This is currently only available on the multi KPI object in the Qlik visualization bundle. I've seen it used on other KPI extensions. It would be useful to have this available on other native chart objects as a way to override the native CSS. This could be used to change font weight, font size, and other properties of objects without having to create a whole new theme to do so.

Hello @KeaneGleeson,

This seems like a duplicate of this idea, which has been delivered.

Also, going forward, use one, and only one, label on a post. Refer to the submission guidelines for details.

This doesn't really seem like a duplicate to me, as the idea here would be to avoid having to manage external stylesheets for every unique design within an app, which is what the linked idea emphasizes with themes using custom CSS. The custom themes are great for being able to reuse styling across apps and adding new color palettes, but for more focused app- or object-specific design changes, there are no good ways to achieve those beyond the limited object property options, creating an entirely new theme just for that app, or relying on third party extensions that provide more styling/design options. Would love for users to have more control over app/base object design without extra CSS in general but this idea would certainly be a way to reduce the barriers to customization.

Hi there, I'm interested in learning more. I have a backlog item to make it easier to customize the css of specific chart objects within the client and for embedded use cases. I think for many of my fellow PMs this moves away from the abstracted "low-code" experience of working with Qlik Sense. That said, I see a need for it.

@Spivey agree.... this is asking for more granular css options.  The CSS on the MultiKPI, is not specific to the actual single MultiKPI object but gives a way to change way more than just the MultiKPI chart. However, it is not at all intuitive.
