Yes, it would be nice to have this option in the QMC as well: Type = bookmark + import/export buttons

Thanks a lot!

Hey there,
I also would love to have the ability to import/export bookmarks from the QMC (in a way that it let's you export/import from a specific application and not just a bulk import/export of all bookmarks)
Also, when you import/export you should be able to set the owner and the visibility (i.e. personal bookmark, community bookmark, ...)

An Export/Import Bookmarks facility would be invaluable.  Many of our clients use bookmarks extensively and some of these bookmarks are quite complex so it is imperative that we have a fail-safe method to "protect" them in the event of an application update where the amended app was not re-published to replace previous version (with the bookmarks). Please please please consider adding this functionality.

Hi,

We also face this problem here. When migrating to a new server, it would be necessary to transfer the user's bookmarks as well and also the tabs and objects he created.
A truly indispensable tool for administrators.
Please consider the possibility of implementation.

We've recently started to use On Demand Apps, which basically is a great self-service feature. But what really annoyes our users is, that they loose their bookmarks, when they have to recreate an ODA (e.g. because a bugfix had to be applied to the template app's load script - nobody's perfect, right?).

I would be really happy to be able to tell them, that they can easily just export their bookmarks, recreate the on demand app and then re-import the bookmarks into the new app.

For our user acceptance's sake, that would be a huge step forward.

So, pleeaaase...

Is there a way via the QSR Postgres DB to do this?  If so, can someone go over the SQL.  Can the

public."AppObjects"

metadata be updated to do this?

This would be very handy.

also if this would be made available please let this also include all booksmarks for all users.

because when you are developing/updating an existing app it would be nice to have an user created bookmark (or a couple of them) to test with

so maybe the export can be a list of bookmarks (ID's) userID's , the bookmark filters itself and if the bookmark is public, community or private bookmark
