Need to be able to connect to Qlik cloud with excel and pull data straight into Excel PivotTables. Why because your graphics capabilities for producing summary information is VERY lacking. I need to be able to create 1 or more pivot tables in excel workbook and the use another sheet in the workbook to create a summary that contains custom written text and arrangements simply not possible with current product And/Or (see my previous idea post on adding a grid to chart functions where I can put in measures and formulas in the grid cells as well as text). I do not want this to be an export bu a live feed into Excel.
Hi @Spartan27215, can you explain your use case a bit more? You are pulling data into a Qlik Sense Cloud app and then you want excel to look at the data in the app and pull into excel visualizations?
Can I ask whether there is an issue connecting excel straight to the source of the data, if you don't intend to use Qlik for building visualizations? Otherwise I'd guess this would need to be a request on Excel's side to read from Qlik apps, or maybe using the URL table link in Excel's data tab you can reference a web table, and use the link to the Qlik sheet to do so.
I found a product from Analytics Gate that does just this and more. I can pull my data from Qlik into excel so that I can create a grid of summary measure information. since Qlik has no grid.
