We are running 1000+ tasks within Replicate on Windows VMs. More often we are being asked for Kafka as a target. As this usage grows the need for a schema registry has become apparent. However, we can not leverage the Hortonworks Schema Registry through Replicate when it runs on a Windows server. From the Qlik support team:
'Our replicate user guide says confirms that this option is only supported when publishing data schemas to the Hortonworks Schema Registry and when Qlik Replicate Server is running on Linux
As your replicate server is running on Windows, authenticating Hortonworks schema registry through Kerberos is not supported and you need to create an enhancement request '
