Currently, in Qlikview, there is a lot of flexibility around conditional colours. For example, conditional colours in a combo chart based on what is selected in a dimension are extremely simple in Qlikview. The below charts have conditional colours so that when "x" is selected the TY bar becomes black vs when the value "y" is selected it turns green. In both cases, the LY is red.
In Qlik Sense, it's not possible to do this (example attached). It's only possible to have a single conditional colour that applies to both metrics. As you can see in the attached, this doesn't work very well as the LY circle becomes very hard to read. This is because the "By Expression" custom colours apply to all expressions. Measure colours are not a solution as these can't be set with an expression.
This additional flexibility would be very useful when dealing with different companies in a single app, where the users want the bars to reflect the company's colours but they still want e.g. a year-on-year view
