Can you provide more context? I do not really see a request nor idea in the post.

@John_TeichmanHello. There are at least three issues :

1/there is no way to set the colors, the one in master item are not even considered.

2/There is not even a color legend so i don't know what the color mean. On my screenshot, can you explain why Gavroche is in blue? What does blue mean?

3/When I select a node, the colors change. Here I clicked on a pink node, it becomes blue for no reason. This is not an expected behaviour : once set by dimension, the colors shouldn't changed with the context edit : well, ok, it's the default behaviour when colors are not explicitly set so it's basicaly the same issue than in 1/

On this other case : I have defined a color by value of the "GROUP EL PRINC" master dimension. It works great with the pie chart... but the result is not the one expected on the network chart. the colors should at least be the same, no ?

I hope it will help you to understand the case here. I'm also pretty sure it's really easy to fix 🙂

Simon

Hello @John_Teichman As a feedaback : For me, it's the reason why nobody use this chart while it could be very, very useful...  The cost of implementation seems low while the gain is high.

My use case right now : show the dependancy of task in qlik sense, with one color for the extraction process, another one for the ETL and another one for the front. I cannot do it right now.

Agree with @simonaubert ! I also have a similar issue.

Agree with @siminaubert ! I had exactly the same issues. And this is a pity since network chart could answer lots of use cases.

We have the exact same issue. A customer is using a Master Dimension in the the Node Group field, but it is not inheriting the Master Dimension's value colors. This feature will get my like! 🙂
