Operations Monitor for Qlik Sense SaaS

Hi,

a lot of users asked us if there is the possibility of monitoring users' sessions on Qlik Sense SaaS apps.

I checked all the monitoring apps that exists for SaaS, but none of them monitor who access which application and for how long.

For starters, we'd just need an easy way to check which users access an application in a certain range of time.

It would also be useful to be able to audit user downloads and ideally what filters were applied.

We are specifically referring to SaaS.

Hello, you can use the entilement analyzer ?

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Support-Updates/Latest-Version-of-Entitlement-Analyzer-for-Qlik-Sense-...

it contains sessions duration and a lot of things. Beside it stores QVD with this data.

@BISquad  @paulcalvet as I stated in the original post, the Entitlement Analyzer and App Analyzer don't contain session details like the Operation Monitor does, which is what we need

Hello,

You have this information in the QVD of this application.

I load the QVD generated by this application (exemple below), you can also load the app.qvd and user.qvd to complete the data model.

LogContent:
Load
id,
userId as _KeyUser,
sessionId,
1 as session_count,
appId,
endTime as _date,
%MonthKey,
duration,
Interval(round(duration/1000)/(60*60*24),'hh:mm:ss') as duration_time,
durationMinutes as _durationMinutes,
allotmentId,
capacityUsed,
minutesUsed,
licenseUsage
from [lib://Monitoring:DataFiles/entitlement_analyzer_Consumption_1.0.0.qvd] (qvd)

Thanks, I'll try. Where do I find the app.qvd and user.qvd? The entitlement analyzer only generates:

  • entitlement_analyzer_Assignments_1.2.11.qvd
  • entitlement_analyzer_Consumption_1.2.11.qvd
  • entitlement_analyzer_Consumption_Overview_1.2.11.qvd

Thanks,

Veronica

Ah sorry, I believed that the original application generates this QVD but I added code for that.

You will find here my version which stores QVD :

Don't worry, I already added several QVDs in my version of the app.

I've been able to develop a simple application with session durations for each app.

Thank you so much! You've been a lifesaver @paulcalvet
