Propose a POST Method to be able to publish files on Sharepoint O365

Would it be possible to Upgrade the Sharepoint Office 365 Qliksense web connector to allow the users to upload their files (CSV, QVD ...) from Qliksense to Sharepoint O365 Portal? (and be able to use the sharepoint POST/PUT and even DELETE method just like we are using GET with the current version of the connector)

Thank you,

@Sébastien, if possible could Kindly share more context and the exact use case. Understand that this features was possible with the connector in the  Qlikview on sharepoint 2013

For @Ian_Crosland , to collect feedback to assess how this could be incorporate into our Qlik Road map.

Hello,

@michel : We have an environment dedicated to our business users.

In this environment, we have 2 use cases:

1/- End users who does not have access to a NAS folder to push their QVD and use them with other Qliksense application: the idea for them would be to generate directly their QVD on sharepoint O365 (everybody has access worldwide to it), using the qlisense sharepoint O365 connector with a "Post" Method

2/-End users who want to share their results with other persons (or external tools), who can not access the NAS, directly in .csv format: they would use the same way the qliksense web connector with the Post method to push their CSV on sharepoint O365

Thank you and best regards,

Sébastien

Hello,

We have a new SharePoint Connector on the roadmap for Qlik Sense SaaS. It will be a Web Storage Connector, similar to what we already have for S3, Dropbox, Google Cloud, etc. It will provide access to files and allow files to be uploaded, in the accessible folders at the SharePoint site.

The current target is to have this new connector available within Q2 2021, but please be aware that our priorities can change and that items on the roadmap are not commitments.
