When using Databricks Delta with Qlik Compose, TRUNCATE is not supported. Meaning that if you TRUNCATE a table for cleaning purpose, you'll find inconsistencies in your storage zone. TRUNCATE should flag a data as DELETED.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'm opening this up to community feedback.

Maybe you can share what are the circumstances in which you truncate your source. Is this something you regularly do? How often? Is this really semantically the same for you as deleting all rows in the source?

This is not planned for Qlik Compose. 

in Compose 'gen2' performing a reload of the source table will effectively cause a compare of the data, and should be used for this scenario.
