according to support ticket 02030502 regarding the MAINFRAME API to control the attunity replicate there is no option currently to set a replicate cdc task to be started in "COLD START" - from current time after stopping it nor from lsn point (with regards to db2 zos endpoint as source). We see that it is documented on how we could STOP TASK AND RESUME TASK but did not find a way to "start a task from current timestamp"
this could ease the way of integrating and controling schedling mainframe jobs with steps to control the replicate tasks, while some options are available in the mainframe api it seems other options are missing
We are not sure we understand your request. What do you mean by 'MAINFRAME API '.
Replicate does not provide APIs that run on the source databases. That was true with our legacy products, Attunity Connect, but does not fit the Replicate architecture.
All the controls are done via Replicate APIs/UI. Please clarify.
