How to Diagnose Failed Connectivity to the Qlik License Server

Steps

On the machine running the Qlik Service which you want to test from, log in with the service account. Then: 

  1. Open Windows Powershell CLI
  2. Enter the following command
    Test-NetConnection -ComputerName license.qlikcloud.com -Port 443​
  3. If port 443 and license.qlikcloud.com are not blocked, the result should be as follows: 
    TcpTestSucceeded : True

If the test comes back with a 'False' result, please work with your IT team to unblock port 443 or the path to the license server.
