Upgrade to April 2020 - "Unknown Error" Data Connections never load

Hi Guys

I recently upgraded a clients QS Server to April 2020. I believe the previous version must have been from a 2019 version, cannot confirm yet.

After the upgrade all was successful but I can see that I now get "Unknown error" when I go into load script. Also the data connections never load. I have opened a case case number - 01972459 and am waiting to actually have someone take a look. I sent all logs/licenses and relevant info.

All I remember from this that seemed odd was it prompted me initially to remove invalid certificates and I followed the instructions and hit accept. Cant think of anything else that happened.

https://support.qlik.com/articles/000097331 Doesn't look like I get the same errors here to actually have to redo the certificates step? Hence why I would love to have someone else take a look.

I did not do a full backup on this besides taking the 4 small apps offline in case. I can see a folder here where there seems to be backups of the certificates but am very unsure with what the best next steps are?

Any input appreciated!

How I resolved, I ran IIS Crypto 3.2. Selected Best Practices option, system restart and everything works.

Hope this response will assist someone else.

I am experiencing the exact same issues after updating to the april 2020 release.
Even the invalid certificates notification.

I really hope this will be fixed soon..

Was this ever fixed? It keeps happening to my Qlik Sense Desktop.

If there is a change with the certificate related to NodeJs update  do you think Customers need to follow the note:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Test all data connections after the certificates are rebuilt.  It is likely that data connections with passwords will fail.  This is because passwords are saved in the repository database with encryption.  That encryption is based on a hash from the certs.  When the Qlik Sense self-signed cert is rebuilt, this hash is no longer valid, and so the saved data connection passwords will fail.  The customer must re-enter the passwords in each data connection and save.  See article: Repository System Log Shows Error "Not possible to decrypt encrypted string in database"

related to article on how to regenerate the certificate in Qlik Sense (https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Support-Knowledge-Base/How-to-recreate-or-just-delete-certificate...) ?

Thanks in advance for feedbacks
