Cloned host - Proxy Service never starts a listener on 443

Hi guys,

My situation: Got a working QS deployment, 1 central node, 3 rim nodes. All OK.

The problem: Cloned the machine via Azure Disaster Recovery. Shut down the original one, brought up the cloned instance. Now on the cloned instance the proxy never starts an actual listener (443) and the last log entry it shows is:

Starting proxy, waiting for certificates to be installed

Nothing after no other logs. We use Azure filesharing and the native PostgreSQL solution from Azure.

Starting the original host runs again with no problem.

When testing the same failover but with a local PostgreSQL and local share, using the same service account from AD as used for the Azure share and service account, this problem does not occur.

Anyone any clue where to start looking at here? Thanks in advance.

This cloned instance has different hostname and IP address. if you want to add it as failover node, then you need to add this new node into QMC in Qlik Sense.  Please follow Creating a node for step 5, 6 and 7.

You can also redistribute the certificate by following Redistributing the certificate

Hi @SWerkhoven,

on top of what @Lisa_Sun rightly said, should the machines have the same hostname, you can try following this article.

Cheers!
