Proxy cookie expiration time

Hello,

is there a way to set the max expiration date for session cookie?

A client of ours want to set their own max cookie expiration period. Not sure if this setting is exposed somehow to be set via proxy.exe.config?

Regards!

Stefan

Hi,

One of the official post to increase the timeout is below link

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Increase-session-timeout-in-Qlik-Sense/ta-p/...

To increase the timeout value:

  1. Open the Qlik Sense Management Console
  2. Navigate to Virtual Proxies in the left-hand pane
  3. Select the  Virtual Proxy that needs to be configured
  4. Adjust the "Session inactivity timeout (minutes)" value to the desired value in minutes

Thanks Ajay.

Isnt this setting applied just for the session?

I was refering to the cookie itself. As you can see below my session has expired but the browser cookie is still present.

I dont know exactly how long the cookie will be present in the browser and the client wants (if possible at all) to define their own cookie expiration date
