Actually its not possible to create a combo chart with stacked bar charts using a Dimension.  It can be only possible using multiple expressions, so it could led to hard coding maintenance if we need to add new categories.

Also we need an option to show values for each bar segment. Not only for the total amount. 

In Qlikview we can create such visualization overlapping a line  chart over a stacked bar chat using transparency.

concur! we've had to regularly go to unsupported extensions for this, which is not ideal, but this is a very common requirement from our end users.

Hi Simon, I don´t think so because the idea you pointed is related to colors by dimension.

This idea is related to create a stacked bar chart using a dimension like in the bar chart.

Very much agree.

I think that the combo chart should be redesigned to support multiple layers, exactly like the native Map object. This would lead to much easier maintenance a awesome variability.

Picasso.js supports this, so I guess that it shouldn't be a problem.

your request is as much needed as mine regarding horizontal/vertical toggle for combo chart.

Thank you for your feedback on ways to improve our product. While this is something we understand would be useful, it's not on the short-term roadmap. Please continue to show your support for this idea.

A rework of the combo chart is hopefully on route during 2020.
