my issue is weird. when i change the paint function in helloWorld.js file it is not being reflected in the app which i am using to test. simple things like changing the text being displayed in helloworld extension.
Sometimes when i open the hub instead of desktop it seems to work. but not consistently
Most likely this is a problem with Qlik Sense caching the extension files. You need to turn of caching in the browser to fix this. A description is available here:
