Limitation in size to import Qlik Sense app.

Hi,

Is there any limitation size to import a .qvf file through QMC ? I am trying to import a .qvf file having size 17GB and could not get it through.

Hi,

Yes it is possible.

Follow the below steps,

1. Make duplicate the app which you want to import.

2. Go to edit script in that app and limit load it. for example limit load only 1000 records.

3. Then Save that app after limit load was completed.

4. Go to qmc and import the app.

As far as I know, the only real limitation is browser based with IE having a 4GB limit. If you are using IE, have you used Chrome, Firefox, or Safari?

Limit your app using 'Limited load' functionality and then upload on QMC.

I think it'll be work.

Hi,

Getting the below message on import dialogue while using IE browser.

Have not yet tested using Chrome or other browsers. Will check and share.

version is Qlik Sense 3.0.

I guess that tells you the file is too large. Please try an other browser.
