Please bear in mind that by using this method there are some characters that need to be ignored in the UniqueId for a file. 

Sample URL:

https://company.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/sites/<site>/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7B3429DA83-18BD-4CA1-A84C-E81E2EFF981A%7D&file=STT_EXCEL.xlsx 

The characters ignored are claudators encoded in the URL.
