Is qlik view n printing and qlik sense n printing are same
Hi,
lets start from the beginning. Naming:
Current version of Nprinting (May 2021 Sr 2) can work with QlikView and Qlik Sense. General approach with both tools is the same but obviously due to different nature of QlikView and QlikSense there are small differences in how NPrinting interacts with both of those tools and what it can produce. As an example there is difference in how pivot tables look in Qlikview and in Qlik Sense. There is too much detail to talk about it here but it is explained in help document (link below)
I encourage you to study https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/Introduction/Introduction.htm to learn more.
Housekeeping:
hope that clarifies it
cheers
Hi,
When posting new questions in the community please invest time to:
- add a meaningful subject
- add the labels with the correct version of the software you are using
to help other people to answer to your question. Thanks.
Please note also that there are a lot of information in the official Qlik NPrinting help site at https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/Introduction/Introduction.htm
With QlikView NPrinting we mean old and no more supported versions until 16.*. Those old versions can create reports only from QlikView documents.
With Qlik NPrinting we refer to newer version starting from 17.0. It is a completely new product, most recent versions are supported and it can generate reports from both QlikView documents and Qlik Sense apps.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
