Connection between Nprinting 2021 and Qlik Sense 2022 doesn't work

Hello,
We are testing the installation of Nprinting May 2021 on a windows server 2016 virtual machine,
We are unable to make the connections from the applications to Qerror nprinting mai 2021 - qlik 2022.jpglik Sense 2022 (on a Windows server 2012 virtual machine).
The connections show us error messages concerning the proxy while the specified proxy is the correct one.
Do you know what can block?
Thank you in advance
Kind regards
Chloé

Please check the following article and the steps therein to correctly configure your NPrinting Test server.

It is likely you need to export the QS certs with the test NP server name and copy to the NP server as described in this article.

Kind regards...

Hi,

Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR4 maximum supported version of Qlik Sense is February 2022 (see https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/System-requirem...). I did not understand what version of Qlik Sense 2022 are you using.

Be sure that you met all the requirements listed in:

I think the Windows user you are using in Qlik NPrinting is not able to open the Qlik Sense app.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

@Eurheca that version should work then, so check through the responses from Frank and Ruggero, in particular as Frank said you likely need to export the certificates from QlikSense to your NP server for the connection to work 🙂

Hello,

We have applied all your recommendations and changed various settings in our test environments but the problem remains the same.

While we are successfully connecting between Qlik Nprinting April 2019 and Qlik Sense February 2022, we are still unable to do the same between Qlik Nprinting May 2021 and Qlik Sense February 2022 regardless of the server used.

Are you aware of any incompatibilities between these two versions?

Thank you !

Hi,

Qlik Sense February 2022 is supported starting from Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR2 so your SR4 is ok. We tested this connection before declaring it as supported.

If you checked also the suggestions in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/Troubleshooting/Verify-connection-to... and they are not solving please open a support ticket.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
