Nprinting engine issue

I'm getting error "you must enable atleast one engine before generating connection cache " and the engine shows "Offline" status
I tried restarting the services in the proper order also retatrted the whole server.

It works perfectly, but  after 2-3 days we get the same error and the nprinting engine goes "offline'

Any solutions to fix this permanentaly??

Hi,

Lets get information straight:

  • please remove wrong-misleading labels from your question
    • NPrinting 16 does not have features you are describing not 16.1, besides both are long out of support
    • SaaS does not suppor NPrinting
    • QlikWorld 2023 - does not add any meaning to your question
    • Lech_Miszkiewicz_0-1701681157613.png

  • please provide correct label with the actual version of software you are using (version +SR)

Once you do that please check

Bottm line isthat we are not there with you, we dont see what you see so telling us that it goes offline after some time is not enough. NPrinting has strict requirements and ALL of them MUST be met.

Hi,

To do any kind of hypothesis we need to know the exact version of Qlik NPrinting you are using and the complete log files.

Hi,

You are using 22.15.5.0 that is May 2022 SR1.

Check that the Qlik NPrinting Messaging service (RabbitMQ) is running on the Qlik NPrinting server and accessible from the other Engines.

In May 2022 SR4 RabbitMQ was upgraded to newer version and in May 2023 IR there is a solved issue similar to your so I suggest to evaluate the upgrade to latest Qlik NPrinting version.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
