QlikView IE Plugin End of support (EOS)

Is there a date set for when the QlikView IE Plugin will reach EOS?

Hi @david_Edvardsson,

The IE Plugin will be supported as long as Microsoft Edge allows for running in "IE mode" as detailed in the following 3 articles:

• Microsoft Edge Chromium support in QlikView
• Run Microsoft Edge in IE-mode to be able to use QlikView's Internet Explorer plugin
• QlikView on Qlik Cloud: open documents using the IE-plugin via Edge Chromium

Please note that the support of the IE plugin relies on Microsoft's direction. Please note the following :

Note:

Regarding continued support for IE Plugin, this really depends upon Microsoft, as they will have to take it upon themselves to include ActiveX control support in another browser in order for things to continue, if they do not take that decision, then when they stop supporting Internet Explorer, we will have no choice but to end of life things as well. I have emailed product management to see if they can provide any further information, but I wanted to get you something in the meantime.
