This folder is empty, default is.

tried to remove the document configuration at C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService\QVPR

but No results

Instead of removing it, why don't you just rename it? You must have at least one category.

Edit the category.xml file and change the "Default" text to something else.

My mistake, you can only change categories in the management console. I believe categories in the AP are stored in each document.

I don't think you are able to remove the default category.
