Show last 8 weeks in ascending order in charts

Hi experts,

I want to show performance of a country based on other selections in a combo chart (column and line). I want to restrict the number of weeks or months or quarters shown (I'm using a group called period with all these dimensions) to show 8 weeks trend i.e Current-7 as my first column and current week as my last column in the chart.

There are three options available in Dimension limits in Qv11: First, Largest and Smallest.

I don't see any other option that would restrict it to the "Last" 8 or any number of values.

Work around is to show first 8 values (values sorted in descending order) but it shows the trend from right to left instead of left to right. Hence, this can't be used.

Please do share your ideas if any. I've been struggling with this for a few hours now. Thanks!

Try adding a calculated dimension using the rank function. In the attached example I use such a calculated dimension to show the top 4 products ordered by sales. I hope this helps you figure out how to solve your problem.
