When you use a Signed License Key in using Qlik Sense Enterprise
Client Managed version, Qlik License Service tries to connect to the
license server license.qlikcloud.com, but there is no way to know if
the Qlik License Service is connecting to the license server properly
at the moment.
There are Qlik Sense Enterprise Client Managed version license logs
in the following directory
ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Licenses\
And even if the following request's statusCode is "200", you still can't
know if this request was successful in connecting to license.qlikcloud.com.
request
{"name":"V1LicensesAllotmentsPrioritizedPost","req.method":"POST",
"req.url":"/v1/licenses/allotments/prioritized?xrfkey=ichbineinberlinR",
"res.statusCode":"200"} --- Why Berlin?
The statusCode "200" is returned if the period is within delayed sync.
The reason I'd like the feature to be implemented is that our customers
suddenly were not able to use the product after several days they changed
the proxy server or upgraded the product and "-proxy-uri" parameter in
services.conf was overwritten in upgrading the product or after delayed
sync period.
It would be good if the Qlik Sense licensing service detects that
it was not able to connect to license.qlikcloud.com, the message appears
on QMC or a mail message is sent to the administrators.
