The following problem occurs under following conditions:
In any chart (in the example bar chart is used)
When Measure's 'number formatting' set to "Measure expression"
And variable is used to define the number format
The number format on the axis does not respond to the "Measure expression" format, and stays defined by the system variable NumericalAbbreviation.
I added a script to show what's I'm talking about (the app is attached to this post).
In this app it can be seen, that based on the 'Language' selection the values labels will change (because different formatting is applied). And I want axis labels to change as well. (I added screenshots for easier navigation)
So when Language = 'EN', axis shows:
2 millions
1.5 millions
1 millions
500 thousands
When Language = 'ES', axis shows:
2 millones
1.5 millones
1 millones
500 miles
When Language = 'NL', axis shows:
2 miljoenen
1.5 miljoenen
1 miljoenen
500 duizenden
Unfortunately this result cannot be achieved by changing NumericalAbbreviation system variable.
QS Server version: Qlik Sense November 2022 - 14.97.3.
