Email on failed load

Every morning and throughout the day we have to MANUALLY check the tasks to see if anything failed.

yes, we have an extension (seems buggy from reviews) but this needs to be a STANDARD feature.

Geesh, how hard is this ?  Add a setting  (engine?) - done.

Qlikview has been doing  this for YEARS.

Hi there,

thank you for adding this idea and your comments around that topic of notifications. We are currently working on a solution which will address this use case plus give you more flexibility in setting up notifications (not only via e-mail). This new capability is planned first to be shipped within our Qlik Sense Enterprise on Cloud Services & Qlik Sense Enterprise on Kubernetes deployment options.

Best regards,

Thomas

@Thomas_Hopp  I have just seen the announcement of Qlik Alerting. Is this feature still under development for Qlik Sense Cloud (short term) Qlik Sense Enterprise (Long Term) or will the development be dropped due to the new Alerting release?

Hi @John_Teichman , this functionality will come separatedly from the Qlik Alerting tool?

Best Regards, Marcel.

Hello @marcel_olmo - No, this is not planned. The team is working on a better experience for scheduling in the Hub and monitoring via the QMC, but there is nothing concrete right now.

This would also be great to ensure that the failure emails could either be sent to a standard email address (ie. Admin inbox) OR to be sent to the task/app owner directly.

In many cases, the failure email will be more useful for the app owner than it would be for a system admin.
