New action for Apps in QMC(apps) and Hub (right click) : Delete Data

Hello,

Sometimes, I just want to keep old versions of my applications but without the data (to save space on disk). As of now, I must alter the script to reload with no data and that's not the prettiest way to proceed.

I would be very happy with a simple action in QMC to delete the data.

What about export without data and then re-import?

Or open the copy of the app using right-click and "open without data" and then save...

Digvijay_Singh

You mean to add new open 'Save', right? for one moment I thought its already there..

@mgranilloThat's another solution (with more steps 😛 )but it means you have the right to export an app and that can forbidden for obvious reasons.

@Digvijay_Singh  In the hub if you right click on an app you can "Open without data" and when the app saves it will have no data in it. I generally just type a space in the script to make it save but I think Ctrl-S might still work. That's what I meant...

@AlexOmetis  Yeah,  I used to do it long back, thanks for reminding this little trick.

I personally would love to see this implementation on both QS Enterprise Client Managed and QS Enterprise SaaS!
From an administrative point of view, I don't want to go app by app to remove data
