Good afternoon everyone,

I suggest to add an option in all On-Premise Qlik Connectors interface to allow non-SELECT queries, similarly to what has been done on Qlik Sense SaaS (see this post).
The option is currently available only from a .config file, which enables it for all connections.

I'd also like to enable this on Qlik Sense on per Connection level. Enabling the config file for all connections is risky where Production data is involved.

This could certainly be useful, but currently we do not plan to address this on the roadmap. We will continue to re-evaluate the priorities to see if this can fit in sometime in the future. You can show your support for this idea by clicking on the "like" button.
