Note that it doesn't have to be the latest version of Qlik Sense Desktop. I am running a February 2020 SP1 and it authenticates fine against our June 2020 SP1 server. It is only a specific June 2020 Desktop that doesn't seem to work.
@oknotsen Yes, that is true. It should also be noted that if using Qlik Sense Business to authenticate, you will need to check your version and possibly download the newest.
Our problem is a littel bit different. When we try to authenticate qlik sense desktop, it say "opening of selected hub failed" Someone have some ideas?
@CamunaCavi if I'm not wrong you should still be able to use the following link to see the LEF: http://lef1.qliktech.com/manuallef/default.aspx Just insert the License number (without spaces) and check if you have the mentioned rows.
Historically I recall that test licenses were not using user model (so professional/analyzer), I'm not sure if anything changed on that side.
@rzenere_avvaleYes, actually doing that check turns out to be a "test" version.I didn't quite understand what that thing indicates, however we have purchased that license. What can we do to solve it?
Hi@rzenere_avvale. We received by email two different signed license keys and we entered by mistake the test site one. Now we entered in the qmc > license management the right signed license key; if we run LEF checker we got the following:
1、"Please note: Authentication against Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows requires a professional license". Does this mean user with the analyzer license won't be able to access the Qlik Sense Desktop? How can I identify my qlik sense license type.By the way,I bought license in 2016.
2、Is there any influence on production enviroment when generating authentication link?
