I developed a job in Talend v4.2.4 and after I exported this job, I did export item and I produced a zip file. I try to import item in another workspace of same Talend version but I have this error: No valid items found in the current source Why I have this problem? Another person takes my zip file and he imported my job in Talend v5.0.2 and he hadn't a problem, he can work with my job. Hhow can I do to import my zip file in another workspace of Talend 4.2.4? Thanks
Hi Pedro,
Yesterday was the first time that I use TOS 4.2.4, before yesterday I used TOS 4.2.3 and I never had a problem with import/export job Talend...
I tried to export item and export job but when I tried to import I have the same error:
No valid items found in the current source

Simone
Hi
Please check whether you export Talend job correctly.
Right click on the Job Designs in Repository view, and select the 'Export items' option to export the items.
In the next window, browse a root directory or an archive file path. For better backup and migration, we recommend to export the items to an archive file.
Select the items you want to export and check the box 'Export Dependencies' to export all dependency items. For example, when you export a job, all the routines, contexts and metadata used in this job will be also exported if this option is chosen.
Click on the 'Finish' button to finish the export.
Regards,
Pedro
Hi Pedro,
I exported Talend job correctly, I exported as you explain. I tried to exoport job and item, with dependences and without dependences.
I can import job in the same project where I exported it, and I can overwrite it but I can't import it in a different project because I have the red error:
No valid items found in the current source
Also I can import job in a different TOS, in TOS v5.0.2
When I tried to import in the same project, different project or different TOS version I used the same zip file, so I exported correctly.
Thanks Simone
Hi Pedro,
I solved my problem, the problem was not Talend version but my PC...
I think the problem was the java version installed on my PC.
