Every time I try to install Qlik Sense the script appears to get right to the end and then rolls back. My IT guys get the same error even with full admin rights. I've attached the logs to this post, can someone please assist in identifying the problem?

I would recommend you start a seperate discussion/thread where you highlight the issue and attach logs/etc. so we can have a look at it.

Hi,

i solved the Problem by temporary Change one registry entry.

1. Open regedit

2. Seach for HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

3. Change the path in "Personal" entry to a local path, but remember the old path!

4. Now you can install qlikview without an error.

5. Change the path in "Personal" to your old.

Hi, I easily solved the problem:

You have to rename (or remove) the Folder "Qlik" in your local user Documents Folder:

"C:\Users\youruser\Documents\Qlik"

If you have uninstalled another Sense version, this folder is not removed.

After installing Sense, copy the content of the renamed folder to the new one.

Hi,

Even I am facing issue while upgrading Sense from v 1.1 to latest version. The installation is stuck at staging and it's really frustrating. Can you please help in resolving this issue.
