I am having an issue with the upgrade to the May 24 release of Qlik Enterprise for Windows. I just finished an upgrade of Qlik Sense to May 23 and updated the PostgreSQL database to ver 14 (using the QPI) and am no having an issue. Every time I try to install the May 24 release, I am getting the error message that I am on PostgreSQL 9.6. I am most definitely not! The version of PostgreSQL I am on is 14 and all updates and upgrades went successfully. In fact I see that Qlik sense see version 14.129.6. So why am I getting this error and how can I get the upgrade to May 24 to work?
Hi,
Maybe this message can help you: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Deployment-Management/QS-Server-Installation-Error-PostgreSQL-12-5-ins...
Kind regards
Thanks but that didn't seem to work.
This is the error message I am receiving. And I have insured that every PostgreSQL except for 14 has been uninstalled.
I have solved the issues. The problem with the 9.3 already installed was fixed by looking at C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\PostgreSQL\<ver>
9.6 was renamed to 9.6_deprecated but 9.3 was not renamed to the directory 9.3_deprecated, which I then did and that solved the first problem.
The missing databases was solved by leaving on the postgresql-14 service instead of turning it off like you did with the repository database service. You can find more information at Qlik Sense Upgrade fails with: This version of Qli... - Qlik Community - 1715710.
