Qlik is going to introduce certification process for extensions - that will be a best place to start.

Another place to look is of course Qlik Branch. Click on Qlik Senset, select Sort by Most popular, and you've got a list of open source extensions. Not sure how they do the ranking, but I think it's safe to say that the top extensions are pretty good.
