I have hidden a sheet in my excel template and protected it with a password.
Now there is no option to select "unhide"
In this forum someone advised to use a variable for hiding or unhiding, but I did not do that unfortunately.
Is there another way to unhide this sheet ?
I did a test with a newly created report. In that report I can choose to hide or unhide the sheet. (both in Nprinting and when opening in Excel)
The template in which I cannot hide or unhide a sheet, contains a bar chart on the first sheet presenting data that refers to a sheet called "source" (which seems to be hidden)
The data updates when in Qlikview new data is added, but I still cannot unhide this sheet. The options 'hide'and 'unhide' are greyed out.
I am afraid I cannot repair this, which is not a great problem. For now have the correct data in my bar chart 🙂
Thank you for your answers
Hi,
I think this is an Excel issue/feature. Qlik NPrinting Designer embeds the Excel installed locally on the PC where you run it.
What happen if you do a right click on the worksheet name and select Unhide?

Agree with @Ruggero_Piccoli.
1. This is excel feature - not NPrinting feature
2. There is no way you can hide excel sheets with variable.
3. Hiding part of the report with variable is possible only in PixelPerfect template

Hi,
Maybe the worksheet is Very Hidden. I'm not joking, googling "options 'hide' and 'unhide' are greyed out" I discovered that this status exists. You can try to follow the second part of the article:
You can export the template from the web console. In the generated .zip file there will be the .xlsx file with the workbook. You can extract it, change the hide option and use as custom template for a new template.
Best Regards,
