Difference between CONCURRENT, SESSION, USAGE CAL???
Hi,
i am kind of a confused when i look at the price list, i see Named, Document and Concurrent Licenses.
BUT when i read the materials related to licensing, i have rarely come across concurrent. Session and Usage are kind of understandable and are discussed in those materials.
BTW on the price list the Session and Usage CALs are not even mentioned but Concurrent. and on licensing document Session and Usage CALs are discussed but not CONCURRENT !!!
So, what is this CONCURRENT License?
Thanks,
Sibtain

can any one explain concurrent license?
My understanding is concurrent license is tied to one document, and users we can change.

I guess that's because Named and Document CALs are licenses strictly assigned to specific users.
The others are concurrent licenses. For instance if you have 10 Session CALS, 10 users out of a possible 1000 can use QlikView documents concurrently.
