hi!

@Katie_Davis

Can we expect that QV12.50 Support is extended? As no QlikView 12.70 was shipped last week, according to the table in the article only QV12.60 is currently under support.

Thx,

Roland

Hello @rva

12.50 support is not expected to be extended. 12.60 and 12.70 are the supported QlikView versions at this point.

All the best,
Sonja

Hello @Sonja_Bauernfeind!

That's what i mean: I can not find QV12.70. To my knowledge the wording was always: "The latest 2 Versions of QlikView are under support".

So as long as no QV12.70 pops up at the downloadpage, can we expect that 12.50 is supported for our customers?

Thx,

Roland

Major releases are supported for 24 months since their initial release. But let me check with our Product Management team to get you more clarity.

@Sonja_Bauernfeind : ok, so as of May 4th 2022 on a critical security update (imagine something similar to log4jvulnerability) we would only get a bugfix for QV12.60?

- QV12.50 is out of support
-QV12.70 not shipped yet.

Just want to make this clear, so we can inform our customers.

Thx,

Roland

Would expect that to be conditional the new version has been released?
Ending support without having the new version released is not very customer friendly.

Does QlikView has any new releases (12.8) for 2023. Please let us know we are using 12.6 and we have to upgrade this year.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Pavan
