We run Compose on-prem, writing to a SQL Server instance also on-prem. Our DBA has 4-hour backups for all the company's SQL Servers which is supposed to truncate the transaction logs for all the databases after doing so. However, the logs for both my test and production data warehouse databases seem to be immune to such truncation:

Notice in particular the fact that the log for the test data warehouse is actually bigger than the test data warehouse itself!

Any systems-knowledgeable folks out there have any insights?

Is there a setting in Compose that I have inadvertently toggled to cause such behavior?

Hi all,

we try to set up a section access with our QlikSense Enterprise installation. Basically we want to give access to all users in the 1st step and after they signed in to a specific area (via partial reload), we want to limit the access to this area.

Limiting the access is not the problem, but providing access for users who have not signed in to a specific area is. From the documentation, I would have expected that I can do something like 

ACCESS USERID

USER      *

But this is not working. If I run the script, it aborts and the error message says, that the user running the script is getting locked out by the section access and therefore the script is aborted.

Does anybody have a working example how to use the wildcard * in USERID for section access?

I have attached a sample dataset (Ledger Account), in which I have highlighted a column in yellow, which is the column to be achieved in Qlik Sense.

Can anyone refer to that, give me a solution. I have attached below a screenshot also.

What Should Happen -> In the balance column, we have the amount of each document value, In a new column, first line should show (Closing balance of 2023-balance column first line doc value), and in second line it should show, (new column first line value-balance column second line doc value), and it should till last row.

Note: - This is only one ledger account dataset, there are multiple ledges.

Im using the AGGR and Rank function to create a rank for each output value for that dimension

Aggr(Rank(1-count({<[somefield]={'Osomevaluet'}>}A_number)/count(A_number)),$(vDimValue))

the dimensions can be anything from 3 to 10+ values so currently my rank produces the values (1,2,3.....10+) or however many dimension values exist.

I want the rank to automatically limit the values of rank between 1 to 5  one being lowest output value aggregated over the dimension.. i don't want to fix the value if output between a and b value 1., else 2...... is there a dynamic way to calculate a range of rank -1-5 based on the values for that dimension

We are experiencing a problem sending the NPrinting reports.

Years ago we had configured an office365 account to send the reports. Then we started with problems. We executed some tasks but only few were sent or experienced delays.

Then we found another SMTP server on Internet with old TLS and basic authentication and all were fine. Lately we had to find another SMTP server that is the actual.

We want to use office365 again, but I don't know if it's possible or not. We need to avoid delaying problems.

due to find Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows Remote Code Execution (RCE) Vulnerability (Authenticated). with suggestion we need to install patch 6 to solve this problem. 

After download the patch and run with administrator on server.  System show logs and installation failed.

detail see file attached. 

It is very urgent for me to find a solution.  Any one met same case and solved.
