Hi folks,
I am using NPrinting 16.6 version, I need to trigger the job after qvw refresh in QMC. As we are facing issues in QMC refresh time because of data dependency from different sources, refresh cant happen at the excepted time.
So we need to trigger the NPrinting task after the QVW Application refreshed in QMC.
Is there any solution to run the NPrinting task after the QVW refresh in QMC.
Thanks in Advance
Hemachandran
Hi Hemachandran,
NPrinting 16.x Server can execute tasks by reading an external XML file.

You can use Publisher to run a batch file that creates/renames an XML file appropriately after a QVW reload to trigger an NPrinting task: How to Distribute Reports after Successful .qvw Reload on a QlikView Server with Publisher

Daniels answer just poped-up. It explains everything
Hi,
Remember that you have to kill the Qv.exe process otherwise reports are generated with old data.
