Will custom tooltips be made available for pivot tables? I desperately need this for my current project.

If it isn't already on the roadmap, please put it there. If it is, when is it expected?

If anybody knows of a workaround or (free or paid) extension, input is welcome!

As far as I know, Pivot table is being re-created from scratch (see this project). I'm not completely sure, but I believe you can suggest this feature directly there
