In QlikView, you can set a variable's value at the time the QVW is opened, by using the 'Set Variable' action in the 'OnOpen' trigger. 

I know that in Qlik Cloud, field selections can be set to default values when the app is opened by defining the field selections in a Default Bookmark, but how do you set a variable's default value when the Qlik Cloud app is opened? I can't find a way to set a variable's default value within the Default Bookmark config, so how else can this be done in Qlik Cloud, to provide an equivalent to QlikView's 'Set Variable' feature in the OnOpen trigger?

i'm trying to login to qlik using a JWT token but when i try to post to https://horsadev.eu.qlikcloud.com/login/jwt-session with the the web integration id and the bearer token i get the following error.

the token is made up like this:

user details: name sub and email are the exactly like the console.

any idea of what can go wrong here?

Is there a way to migrate sys.dm_database_encryption_keys from source, to target database?

I have 'always encrypted keys' - column master keys, and column encryption keys in source database. 

However, when I finish the migration, at target, I don't see these information. As well as at target, the "sys.dm_database_encryption_keys" don't have any encryption information.

We have a problem with qlik sense and AD integration. Could you comment on how Qlik parses groups with the same givenname in AD?
In our checks, QMC returns one of them as a direct group name and the other with CN=xxx,OU=yyy…..

i have a strange behaviour on my QlikSense, on premise, installation: everything is working fine, in QMC i have no error on licence, even if i reload information from web, the analyzer and professional and user can log and work.

However i have a constant error in the log located in: ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Licenses

Around every ten seconds it report this couple of line

I would like to monitor the access and the courses taken by my colleagues.

I see there is the Usage Analytics App, but it requires a subscription administrator access level.

How can I check which account is our subscription administrator?

Can I get this permission for my account?

I have data like this and when we do the calculation like below it ends up with duplicates.

if(num([cal date])-num(today())>0 and confirmed='N',1,0) as "Review Eve"

expression: sum("Review Eve") gives duplicates
