hi everyone,
I would like to create a block chart with 2 dimensions:
- the different factor
- Name
the goal is to see the amount traded by company sorted by factors
My question is how to create a group of factor to see them like a dimension
Many thanks
Eric
Could you provide sample data and how you would like to see those chart(sketch)?
NAME | Earning momentum | Growth | Leverage | Momentum Prix | Profit | Size | Volumetrie | Value | Volatility |
COMPANY 1 | Growth | Volumetrie | High volatility
COMPANY 2 | Size | Value | |||||||
COMPANY 3 | Earning Mom | Momentum Prix | Volumetrie | Value
NAME | AMOUNT TRADED | ||||||||
COMPANY 1 | 1000 | ||||||||
COMPANY 2 | 3000 | ||||||||
COMPANY 3 | 5000 | ||||||||
FACTOR | |||||||||
Earning momentum | |||||||||
Growth | |||||||||
Leverage | |||||||||
Momentum Prix | |||||||||
Profit | |||||||||
Size | |||||||||
Volumetrie | |||||||||
Value | |||||||||

I want to see a segmentation by factor after see all the company which respect this factor filter by the amount traded.
Do you see what i mean
eric
Not really.
I see that you have got two tables and top has only few data for each category.
Once you select Growth what's the outcome you want to see?
when growth is selected i want to see the company which respect this criteria sort by amount
What you want is called a treemap in QlikSense. As far as I know that is not standard possible in QlikView.
What you could do is make a drill down group with the two dimensions you have in mind and add that group as a dimension to your chart. That way people see the main block chart and can select a category to see the details.
onno thank you for your help but the question is: How to create a dimension with my differents factors
My goal is to have for 'Earning momentum' all the INSTRUMENT NAME which respect this criteria etc..... for each factor(earning,growth....)
