Hi all,
How can we determine if the dashboard has successfully reloaded after a failure without manually checking it? We would like to receive an email notification about this. Is there any way to achieve this? Please help.
We currently receive alert emails for failed reloads, and we would like to also receive alerts for successful reloads following a failure,
If above one not works ,we would like to receive a single email by the end of the day summarizing all load history, including both failures and successes
Thanks
Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on retrieving user data related to the export of data, images, or PDFs in our Qlik Sense Cloud environment. I have set up a connection for auditing purposes as per the guidelines in the Qlik Developer Portal, but I am struggling to find the specific information regarding user exports.
Despite setting up the audit connection, I'm unable to locate or retrieve logs that detail when users export data, images, or PDF files.
Here’s what I have tried:
Could anyone provide guidance or share examples on how to properly query the Qlik Sense Audit API to capture these specific user activities? Any tips on the types of filters or API endpoints to use would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best Regards,
Nick
Hi,
I am trying to set up oAuth M2M impersonation and have set up the client in Qlik.
Trying out this example with this body:
{
"client_id": "*****************",
"client_secret": "***************",
"grant_type": "urn:qlik:oauth:user-impersonation",
"user_lookup": {
"field": "subject",
"value": "SUBJECT_VALUE"
},
"scope": "user_default"
}
I got this error:
{
"errors": [
{
"title": "Could not find a user to impersonate",
"detail": "Could not find user with identifier of subject and value of SUBJECT_VALUE",
"code": "OAUTH-41",
"status": "400"
}
],
"traceId": "5f1d309e40ca23dea9cd9558e1061d00"
}
Since I don't have any users except tenant admins the error seems correct.
My question now is how do I create the user on the Qlik side that I want to impersonate?
I don't want to send an email to someone inviting them and I don't want to set up a full IDP described here.

Hello, I'm trying to use the Engine API to extract information about apps in my Qlik Sense environment, but I'm getting the following error: `Access to the app is denied: UnknownUser`
I'm using the same header as I successfully use for the QRS API ('X-Qlik-User: UserDirectory=<directory>;UserId=<user>'), and I have verified that the user has access to the app I'm trying to fetch details from.

Hi,
I am trying to find a listing of all Named CAL QVW authorization assignments. This would be similar to how we can find the list of each document CAL QVW authorization from the CalData.pgo file (CalData/PerDocumentCalData/PerDocumentCalData). I would like to obtain similar per-document authorization data for the Named CALs and cannot find how to do so.
We have a variety of named user CALs assigned. We use DMS authorization. Some Named CALs are assigned to usernames that are available in a configured QMC directory. Other named CALs are assigned to external usernames that are connected to the Access Point via external SSO.
I know that I can obtain a simple list of the current Named CALs with CalData/NamedCalsAllocated/CalAllocEntry. However, I cannot find a way to query what documents those named CALs are assigned to. I highly suspect that this information is available somewhere because I can find it on the QMC. In the QMC, if I go to the Users tab and search for a given named User, the resulting Documents list will show me all of the documents which that named CAL is authorized. I am essentially trying to obtain this same output from the server files themselves.
The reason I am looking for an external server data source is because I can only query the QMC for users that exist in one of my directories. For external SSO users, they do not appear in the QMC because it can only search by QMC connected directories.
Please let me know if I can clarify anything and thank you in advance for your assistance.
Hi!
I have a problem in with the REST connector where the authorization is set in the query header parameter.
I get the error message Failed to connect to server Request headers must contain only ASCII characters. because there is the character å in the header.
It works in Postman but not in Qlik. I have tried to change å to be html-encoded (both %C3%A5 and %E5) but it doesn't work.
Is there a way around this or should we just change the header parameter to not contain this character?
Best Regrads,
Adam J.
