I've been trying all day to create YTD perios in order to create a chart showing figures compared over the current year period. I'm used to having YTD's in my data and simply adding them to my chart in Excel but in Qlik, I can't seem to work this out.

Below is how I would have it created in Excel:

This makes an easy year on year comparison possible.

But how can I get ytd's and add them to a grouped bar chart like above AND have these refreshed automatically upon a new data load?

I' ve been puzzling with expressions for dimensions in the chart but that didn't work out, I tried to add a variable containing the YTD (add wanting to add YTD-1 and YTD-2 later on).

I have migrated a .nsq file from NP-v16 to the Qlik Nprinting 2021 and changes to reports.

Now i want to import only one specific Report from .nsq zip file to overwrite the recent changes.

When i clicked on Import NP 16 Report(as in below screenshot), it shows all the other report except the report I want to replace. 

Any suggestions, please.

I'd like to know the requirements of network direction (e.g. from the source to Qlik, or bidirectional flow) between the source and Qlik Replicate and also the target and Qlik Replicate to configure the firewall rule between them, but I couldn't find any information about it. Could anyone let me know what kind of traffic flow should be necessary for the source and the target?

I have a load script that had dash or -. I want to exclude them from the load script. I know I can do it within the app, but I like to do it on the load script.

Len(Trim(Category))=’-‘ works, but I need the opposite     Len(Trim(Category))<>'-' The opposite does not work.

Hello, I am trying to setup a Generic LDAP UDC to our Google Workspace domain using the Google LDAP server. The setup process seems to fail because of a timeout but I can connect and browse through the LDAP server using Softerra LDAP Administrator. The certificate from Google is installed in my user's certificate store, the service user's certificate store, and in the local machine certificate store. The firewall is disabled. Running on Windows Server 2022.

From the Repository\Trace\UserManagement_Repository log:
"Fetching directoryentry LDAP://ldap.google.com:636 failed: This operation returned because the timeout period expired.

Hi all

I have a published QS application that's being reloaded every morning. The reload finishes around 05:15 local time.
I have a Qlik NPrinting report based on that application that generates the report at 06:20 local time.

Issue at hand is that the report at 06:20 does not contain the latest data.
If I run the report again at a later time, without reloading the Qlik Sense app, reloading any meta data,... the report does contain the latest data.

I'm baffled how  this is possible.
Is there any kind of delay between QS Enterprise en Qlik NPrinting? Can I resolve the issue if I schedule a metadata reload task?

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: value contains character 'ù' which is non US-ASCII

we are working on building some solution around qlik task log. We want to analyze qlik task log at some interval and parse all qlik task log. Parse log and if there's any failure or warning, we want to highlight on dashboard that will be built on some other tools.

Is there way we can fetch from replicate server (window server), do parsing ?

using QEM's Python API is it possible to create new task using a previous task's export file. I want to create 10 tasks using a previous task's export file. I want to know if there is any function called create_task() or someway using which I can create task using python.
