I'm programming the qlik sense windows upgrade to February 2024.

I found so many documents that explains the steps needed but i need to know if there is any specific issue or tips related these two version ?

Do i have to upgrade the Postgre SQL ?

What are the best steps and tips to do it, in order to back up my existing version?

I lost my certifications passwords, how can i back up them , do i have to recreate them before the upgrade ?

Do i need a test enivrement ?

Noted that i have a multi-node architecture, a central node for production and an other for développement.

I'm loking for your help and your advice.

Hello.  I'm trying to figure out the proper syntax for setting a variable.  Here is the code for my set analysis.  

if([P&L] = 'Outside Sales', Sum({$< Object = {">=4020<=4025",">=4160<=4168",">=4320<=4321","4380","4436"},[BU - Code]= {"2000"}>}[Amount]),

if([P&L] = 'Intercompany Sales', Sum({$< Object = {">=4120<=4125",">=4180<=4189",">=4350<=4353","4420",">=4460<=4462"},[BU Code]= {"2000"}>}[Amount]),

This works pretty good for each line-level detail.  However, when I try to roll it up it becomes a bit more problematic.  Ideally, I'd like to convert each line to a variable so when I want to roll them up my formula will be Outside Sales + Intercompany Sales rather than writing the code for all the lines.

Estoy haciendo una actualización de Qlik.

Ya pude instalar el QPI con exito, porque hasta ahora no tenia la BD  separada del paquete  de qlik, y siguiendo los pasos indicados que son estos pude avanzar.

• Desinstale todos los parches para su versión actual de Qlik Sense (por ejemplo, revierta el parche X de febrero de 2022 al IR de febrero de 2022).
• Utilice QPI para actualizar la base de datos PostgreSQL.
• Finalmente, actualice Qlik Sense a la versión que desee.

Pero....Ahora esta instalando la actualización de Qlik  a Mayo 2024 y no avanza  casi nada, llevo mas de 2 horas esperando que termine y nada. Es asi? o se colgó? a alguien ya le pasó esto?

AGREGO: finalmente la actualización terminó pasadas las 23 de la noche (habia empezado a las 15 de la tarde). De todo modos aun no se pudo levantar los servicios.

ich stehe vor der Herausforderung, in Qlik Sense eine Grafik zu erstellen, die die Verweildauern für DRGs darstellt. Hier sind die Details:

Dimension: DRG

Ich möchte folgende Verweildauern darstellen:

• Untere Grenzverweildauer
• Obere Grenzverweildauer
• Ist-Verweildauer

Zusätzlich soll visuell hervorgehoben werden, ob die Ist-Verweildauer innerhalb des Bereichs der unteren und oberen Grenzverweildauer liegt (z.B. grünes Kreuz für innerhalb und rotes Kreuz für außerhalb). Des Weiteren möchte ich den Bereich der Soll-Verweildauer visualisieren.

Leider habe ich keinen konkreten Ansatz, wie ich dies umsetzen könnte. Hat jemand von euch eine Idee oder bereits Erfahrung mit einer ähnlichen Visualisierung in Qlik Sense? Tipps für geeignete Diagrammtypen oder spezifische Schritte zur Umsetzung wären sehr hilfreich.

Hi - We have a customer who is making the transition from QlikView to Qlik Sense / Qlik Cloud. Having used QlikView for more then 16 years, they understandably are struggling with the "But I can do that in QlikView?" One of the issues we have to keep helping him with is that he is finding very old posts in the community from 4,5, 6 and more years ago. Understanding that maintaining and updating old post must be a daunting task - the outdated info is causing a lot of confusion and angst for him. Is there a process for purging old, inaccurate posts?

Can we restrict filters like below mentioned??

when I select Funnel 1, then set of filters i have, Filter A , Filter B, Filter C should apply only on Funnel 1 view , 

when I select Funnel 2 then, same set of filters should apply only on Funnel 2 View.

This kind restriction is possible in qlik?

I am trying to combine two dimensions for one Campaign Name when both are present in two tables (Outgoing and Incoming) for the dimension row in a pivot table.

I tried to simply do the below, but it won't let me filter if the incoming name is present. I was hoping not to concatenate tables or edit the load script, because the tables affect many other visuals in the app.

=[OutgoingMessage.CampaignName]&[IncomingMessage.CampaignName]

I´ve created a simple bar chart, however for bar Qlik declares the starting point as "0". Is there a way to delete the 0 value? It doesn´t suit the eyes of my audience...

There is the amount of last installment and the count of it. My aim is to arrange the renewal rate in terms of the last months number and I calculated a sum / count that will specify average income per contract then I will arrange the raise rate from the other slider. At the end of this, I need to multiply these two number and add that new value on next months expected in come. Help is appreciated!
