Can't attach .qvw file

So I tried to answer a question earlier and got this error:

ErrorError

Am I doing something wrong? Seems weird not being able to post Qlikview files to a Qlikview help forum...

Hello @jensmunnichs

We are looking to have the .qvw added as an "accepted" document. In the meantime, the work around is to .zip the file and upload it.

I tried to reproduce your error and I can confirm the error message you posted above.

Let's try this (just a test) rename   .qvd

/A

 

p.s.

as a work around... in the meantime Qlik people will fix this issue .

Very Strange.

I could upload a qvw!

Maybe the possibility of uploading qvw´s depends on the rank/status

Weird, you might be right. Or maybe it's because you uploaded to a different group (New to Qlikview instead of Qlikview App Development)? I'll try add the .qvw to this post*, don't really want to create new posts in every group to try.

*Did not work, so you are probably right about rank affecting it.

Any news on this?
I just encountered the same issue. Some days ago I was able to upload qvw files.
But now its not working anymore!

Hi Frank, we are still researching. Assume the workaround noted above is possible for the moment until we get resolved?
