Hello April! There are hints of spring in many parts of the world and that brings feelings of hope after such a difficult year. Hope makes us want to celebrate and acknowledge the many great things taking flight. This month we celebrate a Qlik employee. You can find her in many parts of the Community, but mainly you will see her in the Ideation forum, governing the Ideation process, answering questions, and ensuring all Ideas are reviewed and moved throughout the ideation stages. Qlik’s Strategic Marketing Operations Specialist, Meghann MacDonald is an absolute pleasure to work with and is incredibly intelligent.
Meghann grew up in the United States and attended Northeastern University in Boston, where she earned her Bachelors in International Business and Marketing at the D’Amore McKim School of Business. It was there that she had the opportunity to work for Qlik during a 6-month internship at the Newton office within the Product Marketing organization. She fell in love with Qlik and working with data and kept up connections after going back to school to complete her degree.
After graduating, she started at Qlik full-time in the Global Products organization, working with projects and people from all areas of the company. She has built multiple Qlik Sense apps to help with the QlikWorld breakout sessions, QlikWorld session guides, content management, asset discovery, Ideation, and other Product Marketing programs. Meghann works with our G2 partners to gather reviews for Qlik Sense and Qlik Replicate, working with content creators across Qlik to manage and synchronize our assets. She is now the Ideation Moderator and enjoys engaging with and learning more about our customers and Community users.
Meghann is in the process of transferring to the UK where she will live and work. After living in Shanghai for 6 months and Indonesia for 7 months, this will be her 4th country of residence. Meghann loves outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, and camping. She likes to attend concerts and see all different genres of live music. Meghann also loves to play video games and read. We’re impressed!
