Role Reports to; Parts Reporting Manager
Job Purpose
To manage our QlikView reporting system infrastructure which provides interactive analytics for the management of the VWG parts business.
Key Activities
- Be responsible for the management of the QlikView reporting system, including new developments and maintenance of applications and infrastructure.
- Work with customers to create QlikView applications which provide easy access to interactive parts data, ensuring a detailed brief is agreed before work commences
- Manage key projects that investigate potential opportunities to make the parts business more efficient, earn optimal margin or implement controls to improve accountability/continuity
- Work with and advise customers on continuous development of QlikView applications.
- Ensure all applications created in QlikView are thoroughly checked for accuracy before they are published.
- Promote the use of QlikView with our customers, providing training/instruction to demonstrate the possibilities of the system.
- Manage external QlikView consultants where necessary to provide technical assistance in the development of QlikView.
