How to handle date as dimension in charts

Hi I do have a problem.

I do have a dimension in my charts which is year.

I would like to be able to have reference period which can be on 2 years.

I would like for example to compare datas from 1/12/2014 to 15/01/2015 with datas from

1/12/2013 to 15/01/2014 and 01/12/2012 to 15/01/2013.

Instead of being splitted years datas will be on charts splitted by periods
