When QlikView Desktop is installed, the setting.ini file is not created in the path below.
Path: C:\Users\<my_user>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView

And after running QlikView Desktopr, I try to bring up the Change Module Security window with the Control+Shift+M command, but it does not appear.
There is also no print function.

qlikview desktop version : April 2021 SR2 12.60.20200

can i know the cause?

Please reply if possible.
thank you.

Maybe something went wrong by the installation and it's now corrupted in any way. Therefore I would try a re-installation. Another cause may inappropriate access-rights for the user or any security measure prevents the creation of the ini-file. A quick check for the last would be to create any simple txt as ini there and changing and deleting the file again. It shouldn't fail unless the needed access right aren't there.

Hello @qwebnm,

I agree with @marcus_sommer in that is most likely an installation issue. I just tested QV Desktop installation in my lab environment and checked %Users%\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView and the Settings.ini file was there as expected. I then logged off and logged in as a different user, launched QV Desktop and then checked the above file path again and noted the Settings.ini file was present. So, suggest you uninstall QV Desktop, delete the QlikTech folder in %ProgramData%, reboot and try the installation again.
